JM-2 Available Fab of Tactile Feedback IF Using Conducting Poly Actuators
The student is required to work with a design optimization tool to develop a design for conducting polymer actuators to be perceivable by human fingertip as they actuate. The actuators are then fabricated based on the optimized design (involvement of the student in this part is optional) and the student is required to implement a tactile feedback interface using them. Eventually a psychophysical analysis will be carried out on the fabricated tactile feedback interface to evaluate its practicality.
