18th Canadian Workshop on Information Theory
About the Workshop
The 2024 Canadian Workshop on Information Theory (CWIT 2024) will take place at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, from June 2-5, 2024.
This will be the 18th bi-annual Canadian Workshop on Information Theory. Similar to previous events, the event is designed to provide researchers and in particular graduate students working in information theory and related areas, from Canada and abroad, with opportunities to:
Learn from senior lecturers in the field who will present tutorials and keynote lectures;
Participate in a stimulating and inviting forum of scientists;
Present their own work, already published or in early stages, for feedback and potential collaboration;
Deepen their connections with the community.
Program
The Workshop will be in-person held over four days and will consists of
two long-format (2 hour) tutorials on Day 1
four keynote lectures on Days 2-3
a short tutorial on Day 4
33 technical presentations on Days 2-4
