Customizing Configuration Variables

The default values of the configuration variables should get you up and running, but they can be customized to better reflect your work environment. By default, the program searches for these configuration files in the following order, and uses the first one found:

    • Your current working directory
Define configuration variables here that apply only to your current working directory.

    • Your personal directory = $HOME/hpeesof/config
Define configuration variables here that apply to your user directory.

Note: On the PC, %HOME% represents the path you specified as the Home Folder during installation ( by default, C:\users\default)

    • The IC-CAP installation directory $ICCAP_ROOT/config
Define the default installed configuration variables here that apply to all projects of all users. Configuration variables should not be customized here.

Each of the individual IC-CAP tools has its own configuration file. The supplied configuration files can be found in the directory $ICCAP_ROOT/config (where $ICCAP_ROOT represents the complete installation path). The filenames for each of the tools are shown in Table 10.
