I am currently a senior CMOS image sensor (CIS) research/design engineer, who converts abstract imaging algorithms to silicon reality. I got my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. In the System on a Chip (SoC) laboratory, I was luckily under supervision of Professor Shahriar Mirabbasi. My research interests include CIS architecture design, mixed-signal circuits modeling (my first job in Microchip Canada), and novel CIS solutions for mobile imaging applications (the work I am doing at vivo Mobile Communication Co., Ltd.).

A little more about me: My M.A.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering was awarded in 2015 from the Microsystems and Nanotechnology (MiNa) research group, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. During my master program, I concentrated on microsystem design (smart stent). In 2012, I got my B.A.Sc degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
