United Kingdom

My memories of UK were vague; I travelled with my mom and her friend, and we spent most of the time rushing trains, walking to the train station from my aunt's house, buying groceries at Chinatown, and cooking dinner. I am determined to go there again, but I will travel alone and spend extra $ for accomodation at a convenient location, so that I can do the most in the shortest period of time.

I didn't get a chance to taste good British food. Mostly I ate sandwiches and home cooking, and the best meals I ate during the two-week trip was at Paris (french can make better sandwiches than british). I found that British food was salty, and I often had to wash their salty mush down with water. Perhaps I should pack protein bars next time if I go there again.

Paris was great; I should have spent 10 days there and the remainings in UK. Louvre was excellent; shops were wonderful; if I were travelling alone I would have spent some time hanging out at street cafe. Mum lost her purse there, and we had communication difficulties with the local policemen, so my mum wasn't in a very good mood throughout our visit. Other than that, I was quite impressed with the artistic beauty of Paris. I shall see you again, France.

And by the way, the PC that the policeman used to record our stolen property report was running in Windows 3.0.
