I recently graduated from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. I was a research assistant in the ReSeSS research group, and my supervisor is Dr. Julia Rubin. My research is mainly focused on static analysis of mobile applications.
I received my B.A.Sc degree from Simon Fraser University, majoring in Electronic Engineering with a Business Administration minor. I am also interested in Economics and Portfolio Management.

Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc)• Jan 2017
I was a research assistant in the ReSeSS research group under supervision of Dr. Julia Rubin. My main research is on static analysis of mobile application. I also conducted research on optimizing energy-efficiency of mobile applications and privacy analysis of mobile and wearable applications. Besides my research projects, I am interested in machine learning. I have done several machine learning projects, e.g., to predict and automate crypto-currency trading.
B.A.Sc. Degree in Electronics Engineering• May 2011
I received my B.A.Sc degree from Simon Fraser University, majoring in Electronic Engineering with a Business Administration minor. As a student who has both engineering and business background, I am interested in the entrepreneur opportunity brought by new technology. I have been invited to business conferences, such as Illuminate Vancouver, as a guest speaker.
ICT Product Engineer • May-Aug 2015
My major task was to plan and perform characterization tests to assure products meet the Specifications. Towards this goal, I developed automated tests using TCL scripts to collect statistical data for the products under different operating environments. Then, I analyzed the statistical data and write reports for the characterization of the DDR4 products. I also worked with cross-functional teams to effectively test new semiconductor products for mass production preparation.
Hardware Coop • Jan - Aug 2014
My main task was to review new PCB layout design to ensure the design was consistent with the requirements specified by hardware components providers. I have also conducted quality assurance test on the prototype wireless modules to assure the quality meet customer’s expectation. My best achievement is that I provided recommendations for new design, which helped the product to effectively achieve better heat transfer capacity.
