Alaa Eldin Abdelaal

I am a Vanier Scholar and PhD candidate at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Depratment at the University of British Columbia. I am working as a research assistant at the Robotics and Control Laboratory. I am also a visiting graduate scholar at the Computational Interaction and Robotics Lab (CIRL) at the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. I am co-advised by Dr. Tim Salcudean and Dr. Gregory Hager. I completed my M.Sc. degree at the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University where I worked as a research assistant at the Network Systems Lab (NSL) under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Hefeeda.
