B.E. Honours I in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with James Goodfellow Award (university Medal) in 1988, University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Dr Krishnamurthy’s current research interests include:

  1. statistical signal processing for wireless multi-media and sensor networks

  2. computational game theory, stochastic optimization and scheduling   in radar and surveillance systems

  3. stochastic dynamical systems for modeling of proteins and biosensors

  4. social learning and applications in math finance


In 2009 and 2010, Dr Krishnamurthy served as Distinguished lecturer for the IEEE signal processing society. From 2010-2012, he serves as Editor in Chief of IEEE Journal Selected Topics in Signal Processing. He has served as associate editor for several journals including IEEE Transactions Automatic Control and IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing,  He also currently serves on the editorial board of IEEE Signal Processing Magazine.
