I am S M Shahrear Tanzil. I was born in Bangladesh. I received my BSc. (with honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2011. I have completed my MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Kelowna in 2013 and PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver in 2018. From 2013, I was working at Statistical Signal Processing Laboratory, the University of British Columbia, Vancouver under supervision of Prof. Vikram Krishamurthy. Currently I am working in Ericsson R&D. My current research interests include statistical signal processing, machine learning, data analysis, decision theory, game theory, wireless network, 5G, edge computing and caching.
