My Bachelors of Electronics Engineering degree is from Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Allahabad, India. Regional Engineering Colleges are public funded institutes and were established by the Indian government one in each province. There are about 20 Regional Engineering Colleges in India. A list of courses in my undergraduate program is published here. I completed two theses for my undergraduate program.

  1. LAN Protocols: Simulation and Comparison

    • Software design project involving modeling and simulation of different variations of hybrid CSMA/CD MAC protocols and comparing their performance (throughput) in a LAN.

  2. Low Frequency Counter

    • Digital design project requiring sampling of an analog low frequency waveform (<100Hz) and displaying the correct value digitally. Our counter was compact and precise with a 1 Hz margin of error.

My Masters degree is from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The title of my thesis is "Performance Evaluations of Wireless Internet Access using the Wireless Applications Protocol"

Areas of my masters research included work on Layer 3 (Transport Layer), protocol analysis, network administration, and modeling and simulation.
