  • Executive Vice President of Sonic Solutions.
  • Based in Marin County, California, Sonic Solutions is the world's leading supplier of DVD creation software for professional, industrial and consumer applications. The majority of major film releases on DVD have been produced on Sonic's professional DVD authoring systems in studios around the world. Sonic's MyDVD?and DVDit!?are the most widely-used DVD creation applications by consumers and video enthusiasts and are the solutions of choice among the key PC and after-market drive suppliers. Sonic's AuthorScript, the DVD and CD formatting and burning engine that underlies Sonic's applications, is the most widely deployed DVD software engine and has been licensed by Adobe, Microsoft, Sony, and many others.

  • President of Daikin US (DVD Division).
  • Daikin worked together with Toshiba to introduce the first complete DVD system to the world in 1996. Daikin was responsible for the development of the software components of the DVD system and became the world leader in DVD software technology. By December 2000, Daikin US had established offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and Singapore. The vast majority of facilities worldwide, ranging from Hollywood studios and post-production houses to DVD replication facilities, were using Daikin's software products. Partnerships involved companies in DVD player manufacturing, disc replication, digital video and audio technology, video and audio production, as well as computer technology. In 2001 Daikin's DVD division merged with Sonic Solutions, a US based company (see above).
