About Me

I am Mohammad "Mo" Jafari, currently the Head of AI and Software at Aspect Biosystems. I have over 10 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, and NLP through academic collaborations at the University of Michigan, University of British Columbia, and Harvard Medical School, as well as various positions in the tech industry and healthcare. I am honored to be a recipient of the Governor General’s Canada Academic Gold Medal for outstanding research contributions, and have authored more than 35 peer-reviewed articles with over 1,400 citations.
