About Me

This is Mohammad H. Jafari. I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. I worked under the supervision of Profs. Purang Abolmaesumi, Robert Rohling, and Teresa Tsang, broadly research robust Machine Learning methods for Healthcare Data analysis. I finished my M.Sc. and B.Sc. in computer engineering - software at IUT, where I worked under supervision of Prof. Shadrokh Samavi in collaboration with Prof. Kayvan Najarian at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, developing Machine Learning algorithms for Computer-Assisted Diagnosis of Skin Cancer.

I am passionate about machine learning, computer vision, and data science. My current research includes investigating machine learning solutions for computer-aided diagnosis and health data analysis.
