- July 2017-present: Siri Software Engineer at Apple (AI/ML), San Francisco Bay Area.
- Feb 2016-July 2017: iOS Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, Vancouver, BC.
- Jan 2012-Mar 2016: Research Assistant at SALT lab, ECE, UBC.

- Nov 2010-Mar 2011: NSERC Research Assistant on an industrial research and development project for the IgnitePlay Company; involved designing and developing of a visual tracking system (AS3 in Adobe Flash and HTML/PHP/MySQL) using engaging visualization techniques that encourage and promote health accompanied by designing and developing a series of online health games using social gaming strategies (AS3 in Adobe Flash). The work was done under the supervision of Dr. Magy Seif El-Nasr, SIAT, SFU.
- Nov 2010-Jan 2011: Volunteering collaboration on designing and development of an iPhone Application (UV Canada) for BC Cancer Agency. Part of the iPhone UI Design team. The application has been downloaded over 16,000 times and was featured in Canada's Global National TV.
- July 2010-Mar 2011: Research Assistant on the Virtual Environments Real User Study (VERUS) project, which is a mixed-methods, multi-site study of virtual worlds like Second Life, World of Warcraft, Maple Story, Aion, Guild Wars – both 2D and 3D, game-based or non-game-based – and involves multiple teams of researchers investigating different aspects of the connection between MMO's/Virtual worlds and the people that play them. It involved with video analysis, coding charts, qualitative, lab-based fieldwork, and series of tasks to on the website for easy access to them under the supervision of Dr Suzanne de Castell, SFU.
- Oct 2010- December 2010: Research Assistant on the Body Buddy system, which is implemented as a Unity interface that is used in tandem with a Skype conference call. It is an avatar system that allows each person in an audio chat to have a simple avatar to manipulate that others can see under the supervision of Dr. Magy Seif El-Nasr, EMIIE Lab, SIAT, SFU.
- July 2009-August 2009: Collaborated with Professor Andrew Gordon on interactive storytelling system for Persian blogs of ICWSM 2009 Spinn3r Blog Dataset.
- January 2009-April 2009: MITACS internship with Bardel Entertainment Inc. Working on Play Together Project: An Integrated Model for Collaborative Multi-player Single Computer Play for Children under the supervision of Dr. Magy Seif El-Nasr. Developed a game using Action Script 3 in Adobe Flash, Researched on the co-op games, ran testing sessions with 60 participants, video analysis, and coding charts.
- September 2008-December 2008: NSERC Research Assistant on Co-operative Games under the supervision of Dr. Magy Seif El-Nasr, EMIIE Lab, SIAT, SFU.
- January 2008-July 2008: Enterprise system developer, Teanab Corporation. (Tehran branch of Hyperoffice Co.), Tehran, Iran. Program in Cold Fusion using MVC model.
- Summer 2006-Fall 2008: Research Assistant at Natural Language Processing lab in computer engineering department of Shahid Beheshti University under supervision of Dr. Mehrnoosh Shamsfard, Tehran, Iran. Worked on Automatic Persian Text Summarization system in C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Summer 2005: System designer and developer, Iran Info-Tech Developement Co., Iran. Using RUP methodology and Rational-Rose tool.
