Research

My general area of research is in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on ultrasound imaging. I am primarily interested in the field of elastography which is the calculation and visualization of mechanical parameters of tissues within the body. More information on elastography can be found in its subsection. The goal of my work is to improve ultrasound elastography results to produce a system capable of reliably providing safe, cheap, and fast screening of cancerous tissues.
