Hi, all.

I've updated the IEEE ComSoc website with Vancouver Chapter news and
upcoming events for Fall 2000.  Please make special note of 
Nelson Sollenberger's IEEE Distinguished Lecture on 3G and 4G Wireless
Systems in late October.


1. IEEE ComSoc Presentation - Wed, 6 Sep 2000 (7:30 - 9:00 pm)

   Operating Licence-Exempt Wireless LAN's  
   in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz Bands in Canada

2. IEEE ComSoc/GOLD Barbeque - Sun, 10 Sep 2000 (12:00 - 2:00 pm)

   Location: John Hendry Park (Trout Lake) in Vancouver

   (This is a great opportunity to (1) meet other members of the
   ComSoc community and (2) share your thoughts and suggestions 
   concerning future chapter activities including presentations,
   seminars, and tours.)
