IEEE Communications Society Seminar Monday, September 28 at 7:30 PM The Introduction of ADSL Service in BC Zahir Virjee BC Tel Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) provides fast (1 to 4 Mbps) access to the Internet. BC Tel is currently introducing ADSL service in Vancouver. The talk will cover the basic principles behind ADSL, the equipment being deployed in Vancouver, and BC Tel's experience to date. There will be an opportunity to answer questions from the audience.
