I finished my PhD and MASc in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of British Columbia under the supervision of Professor Vijay K. Bhargava in early 2013 and 2008 respectively. Prior to that, I received my undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2005 in Electrical Engineering. With all those "Electrical" terms in my academic degrees, I might have serious trouble remembering simple things like Ohm's Law ;). That being said, my interests lie everywhere and focus is somewhere else every year.
