Versatile Raleigh fork, from an early 1980's Raleigh USA Competition Frameset. NO RUST, just some small paint scrapes / shop wear. Reynolds 531 tubing, made by Tange. You can clearly read "Tange @" and "Reynolds 531" on the fork steerer tube (see VERY LARGE pictures by clicking on each picture). This fork has an enormous (12") steerer with 1" of threads and may be cut to length and tapped for ANY raleigh competition bicycle, or use it on another vintage frameset. It is ideally suited to a 25.5" frameset, but any good bike shop could adapt it for your frameset. Suntour Dropouts (no eyelets). I accept paypal (no credit cards, though), personal check, money order, and ship as cheaply as possible at actual cost (estimate: $8 for lower 48 states), or according to buyer's preference.

Figure 0. Back Side of Fork.

Figure 1. Fork picture. The head tube is so long that I cannot take a useful picture of the fork with the full head tube included.

Figure 2. Suntour dropouts, no eyelets. Raleigh Competition is a racing bicycle.

Figure 3. Raleigh in this era is not known for optimal decal application.

Figure 4. If you look closely, right above "@ Tange", you can see the letters "531" and the word reynolds is clearly visible wrapping around the steerer tube right before the "531".

Figure 5. This shows one paint scrape - easily retouched. There are more scrapes on the back of the crown (see picture #0). No scrapes or problems outside the crown area.
