USER ENTRIES 10/Jun/2025 Roberto: about oversampling Classic oversampling scope modes such as HIGH RES, ENVELOPE, SAMPLE etc. do not apply to this scope. The MXR is designed for real-time, high-resolution acquisition, using 12-bit ADCs and deep memory. Instead use these settings: | Traditional Mode | MXR Equivalent | | ---------------- | ------------------------------------- | | Sample | Default real-time mode | | Peak Detect | High sample rate + persistence + zoom | | Envelope | Display persistence + waveform math | | High Resolution | BW limit + Averaging + Math LPF | 10/Jun/2025 Roberto: ROLL Mode On the MXR the acquisition mode (real-time vs roll) applies globally, not per channel. If you are using a SYNCH signal as trigger, while viewing its corresponding (slow) signal on another channel: - In real time the signal may look static, but updates after each trigger. - In roll mode the SYNCH signal may look under-sampled, but it is still being used to control triggering.
