AC Current 10 A Gain Calibration

This calibration procedure applies to the 34461A, 34465A, and 34470A only (not applicable to the 34460A).

Review Test Considerations and Flatness Calibration Considerations before performing any calibration.

Configuration: AC Current

All AC calibration procedures use the 3 Hz bandwidth measurement filter.

1. Select the 10 A range.
2. Apply the 5 A input signal at 1000 Hz.
3. Enter the actual applied input current as the Cal Value (see Entering Calibration Values).A Calibration Step Succeeded message indicates success; if the display shows Calibration Step Failed, check the input value, range, function, and entered calibration value and repeat the calibration step.
4. Store the new calibration constants (see Storing the Calibration Constants).

This calibration takes approximately 2.5 seconds to complete.
