Xiaoyi Fan (樊小毅)

Xiaoyi Fan is an Honorary Postdoctoral Research Fellow in WiNMoS Laboratory led by Prof. Victor C.M. Leung in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of British Columbia. He received B.Eng. from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2013. He received M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University, Canada, in 2015 and 2018, respectively (Supervisor Prof. Jiangchuan Liu).

RESEARCH: His research interests cover Internet-of-Things, big data and deep learning. He enjoys the process of bridging the gap between theory and practice, and of bringing theoretical results to practical implementations.
