| I was in Mumbai for 2 weeks in total, 1 week each time. For a week in October I was attending my friend Kshitija's wedding (from Nairobi) and visiting my extended family (most of my mother's 34 cousins and their kids), most after 20 years. The second time I was there was at the end of my trip to cool down and spend more time with family and last minute shopping. Did not do any sightseeing as I had done that in Mumbai previously in 2000. Click here to see pics from that trip. | ||

Kshitija's sagai (engagement) was on the 12th of October at a local banquet hall.

Kshitija's shaadi (wedding) was on October 15 and involved two ceremonies: Sikh wedding in a Gurudwara and Maharashtran wedding. |
