The Homepage of Phillip Jeffrey
I am a Masters of Science Student in a specialised
program called Interdisciplinary
Studies
at the University of British Columbia.
This is a picture of me.
My thesis broadly studies the concept of folksonomy in everyday life --
social software (e.g. del.icio.us); physical spaces (e.g. yellow arrow);
location-based spaces (e.g. murmur).
This research encompasses a variety of themes such as social computing
(see Marc Smith), ethnography, and CSCW (see Elizabeth Churchill, Barry
Brown, Richard Harper).
Thanks for Visiting.
Phillip
