I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, where I am working in the Data Communications research group, under the supervision of Professor Vijay K. Bhargava

I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria and my M.A.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2013 and 2010, respectively.  Prior to moving to Canada, I earned my B.Eng. degree in Communication Engineering from Tianjin University, China in 2004 and worked as a Wireless Communication System Engineering at China Information Technology Design and Consulting Institute from 2004 to 2008.

My research interests are in the general area of wireless communications and networking, which include radio resource management, cooperative wireless communications, information-theoretic security, optical wireless communications, and statistical signal processing for communications.
