Botany BC, Morning of Day #1, May 11, 2007

BOTANY BC is an annual meeting of botanists and plant enthusiasts of British Columbia and is open to anyone interested in plants. This web page shows some of the wildflowers and plants we saw on the field trip. The next field trip is planned for the spring of 2008, on Savary Island.

In the morning of Day #1, we were led to an Ecological Reserve just north of the end of Osoyoos Lake by Terry McIntosh. The reserve lies just north of the east end of Road #22, in a desert area. The WGS84 coordinates are 49o 05' 34" North, 119o 31' 29" West.
