The slides from Angela Choi's presentation on "Operating Licence-Exempt Wireless LAN's in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz Bands in Canada" are now available online at the IEEE ComSoc website, http://www.comsoc.org/vancouver/. 2. During the next few months, we hope to identify several IEEE ComSoc members in our chapter who should be elevated to Senior Member grade. If you know of a colleague who has demonstrated "substantial engineering responsibility or achievement" during the past several years and should be recognized in this manner, please let me know. (Note that three references from IEEE members holding Senior Member, Fellow or Honorary Member grade must be provided with the formal application.) 3.
