Hi, all.

LinuxFest'99 is coming up on Sat, 2 Oct 1999 at UBC.  

There will be a strong IEEE presence and Science and Engineering
component at LinuxFest.  There will also be an opportunity to win some
great technical software including MATLAB, Maple V, Fujitsu Fortran
Express, Fujitsu C/C++ Express, Linux for Astronomy, and TNTlite.

Numerous tutorials will be given on a variety of Linux and Open Source
topics by industry experts including Gene Barlow of Caldera Systems, Joe
Choi of Oracle Corp., Gurusamy Sarathy of ActiveState Tool Corp., and
Andrew Daviel of Triumf Meson Facility.
