IEEE Communications Surveys - http://www.comsoc.org/pubs/surveys/ Telecommunications technology is progressing at a rapid pace. Researchers and other professionals need to stay up to date. IEEE Communications Surveys is the new thing in town. It is the first and only FREE OF CHARGE, PEER-REVIEWED and ELECTRONIC magazine that helps telecommunications researchers and professionals to stand the pace. Its talented and dedicated editorial board is committed to serve these researchers and professionals by providing a continuously-available source of comprehensive,leading-edge tutorial and surveys covering all areas of communications. The chief goal of IEEE Communications Surveys is to publish, on a quarterly basis, full fledged issues that feature original peer-reviewed tutorial and survey articles and original departments such as the Reprint of the Quarter. The inaugural issue published in late 1998 was widely acclaimed. Two issues have already followed suit this year. The articles published so far cover numerous topics including: · CDMA · Active networks · ATM · Cable TV networks · Satellite communications · Optical networks · Network management If you are interested in receiving the table of contents of new issues as soon as they are posted, please visit the Communications Surveys web site and subscribe to their mailing list. If you are interested in submitting manuscripts for eventual publication, please consult the call for papers on their web site. Papers are solicited on all communication topics. The review process is speedy and the publication of accepted papers expeditious. 2.
