Marking of Assignment 2
The assignment was marked out of 43. Problem 4.18 was marked in
detail. Marks were awarded as follows:
(a) 11 marks: for each of the mean and mean square, 3 marks for the
for the method and 1 for the answer, 3 for final result
(b) 2 marks
(c) 3 marks
(d) 6 marks: 4 for method, 2 for answers
Problem total: 22 marks
Up to 21 additional marks were awarded for submitting answers to
each of the questions (three marks per question).
