The midterm exam dates are tentatively scheduled for Monday October 30 and Monday November 6 at 1:30 PM in SW1-2030. This would be a two-part exam marked as a single exam.

On Monday October 2 we will go on a tour of Shaw's facilities instead of having a lab.
We are expected at 9:30 at:
Shaw Tower900-1067 West CordovaThis is on the 9th floor. I have asked that the tour end at approximately 10:45 to allow time for students to return to BCIT for an 11:30 lecture.
I can give 4 people a ride from BCIT (starting at 8:30 sharp) and I think another 4 students have said they have their own transportation. We can finalize the details at the lecture tomorrow. The location is also within walking distance of the Burrard and Waterfront Skytrain stations if you prefer to take transit (about 45 minutes each way).

This is on the 9th floor. We will try to finish by 10:45 so that you have enough time to make it back for an 11:30 lecture.
I can give a ride to a few (3) people. Please let me know if you’re expecting to go with me so I can be sure there won’t be too many people. I will pick you up at the front entrance of SW1 (White Ave/Goard Way) at 8:30 (sharp). If no one needs a ride I will go directly to Shaw Tower.
Access by public transport (e.g. UBC 25 to Nanaimo Station and then the Expo line Skytrain to Burrard Station, about 45 minutes) is also fairly convenient.
If you’re driving, two hours of parking at the Shaw Tower public parkade (e.g. from 9 to 11) costs $14 (I think).

The final exam min/median/mean/max marks were 10/13.6/14.5/16.5 out of 20.
