Marking of Assignment 1

Only Question 1 was marked. It was marked out of 10. One mark was assigned for each of the following:

• comments including name, student number and purpose of the design
• the right entity and signal names
• code to compute the next values (up and down)
• code to select the next value to load
• code to register the next value
• code to generate TC
• one mark for demonstrating correct simulation results for each of the following
  • load 0 and load 10
  • counts down from 10 to 0
  • counts down to 0
  • no change if CET* or CEP* are not asserted
